Summary

Description The older "postal box" style of bear-resistant garbage can used in many parks and campgrounds. Although not visible in this image, the entire apparatus is locked to a metal post that is anchored in the concrete pad beneath the barrel, ensuring that a bear cannot remove the top or tip the container. Lake Louise State Park, Alaska.
