Daniel Siboni (born June 2, 1959) is a French photographer. He is known for his artistic accomplishments in interior architecture, fashion photography, street art, [1] and street photography. [2]

Siboni’s fine art photography has been shown in venues such as the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Art Basel Miami show "In Fashion ‘07" and the "Year of Fashion" – so designated by the Photography Institute of New York for 2009.

Biography

Early life and education

Daniel Siboni was born in Rabat, Morocco and raised in Place de la Victoire, Bordeaux, France.

At age 15, Daniel Siboni participated in a young photography competition in Paris sponsored by "La Ville de Paris". In addition to winning professional photography equipment, his winning photo "City of Paris" was published in different Parisian magazines. At age 24, he entered the "Ecole des Beaux Arts" in Paris to study interior architecture and photography.

Career

During his studies, he was recruited to work for a private architectural firm to develop interior design concepts for some of Paris’ most famous restaurants and private homes such as "Drugstore Opera," "Le Grand Echiquier," "Le Chevalier de temple," "Station de nuit," "Le Vouvray," "Les Rois Fainéants"[ citation needed]

After ten years working at a private architectural firm, Da Neil Siboni decided to launch his own concept restaurant bar, Zinc Bar, in the 11th arrondissement district of Paris.[ citation needed]

Three months after opening, he was approached by the publisher of Lola Mag, a famous Parisian fashion magazine, to feature one of his photos "New York City." In 1982 at age 34, he became the director of photography for Lola Mag with responsibility for overseeing the production, coordination and shooting of all magazine covers and fashion spreads.[ citation needed]

Two years later, Daniel Siboni opened his own photography studio/gallery "Studio 101" in "Place de la Victoire" in Paris.[ citation needed]

In addition to running his gallery, he expanded his international business by launching Eden Productions in Majorca, Spain.[ citation needed]

From 2003 to 2012, in went to live in Los Angeles as fashion photographer for ELITE and VOGUE, he also opened two Street Art Galleries: the "Melrose Art Gallery" and the "Studio on 3rd" . He created the GLAMHOUSE concept of ecologic design houses ( https://glamhouse.la).

In 2013, he opened a Gallery in Tel Aviv in Israel (Urban Secret Gallery) and the "Daniel Siboni Factory" in 2017 and was the Art Director of the museum of Tel Aviv exhibition "80th Batman birthday". In 2018, the DAN GROUP entrusted to Daniel Siboni the conception and artistic direction of a Street Art hotel's line., the first of which has the link hotel and hub, a gallery on 8 floors in Tel Aviv. [3]
