The 4th Lithuanian Vanguard Regiment ( Polish: 4 Pułk Litewski Przedniej Straży) was a military unit of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The full name was 4th Lithuanian Advance Guard Regiment of Josef Bielak. ^[1]

History

Origins

Formed in 1733 by gathering all cavalry banners of the Voivode of Kiev Potocki family, mostly composed of Tatars. ^{[1] [2]} Aleksander Ułan commanded the regiment in 1734. ^[3]
