Senate . The election coincided with
elections for other offices, including
governor , and
U.S. House of Representatives .
Democrats gained 1 seat, increasing their supermajority to 37 out of 40 seats.

Maura Healey's win in the gubernatorial race, Democrats won a
trifecta in the state for the first time since 2014.
