Dwight W. Burney, to win a third and final two-year term in office.
Eight years earlier, Frank B. Morrison faced Dwight W. Burney in the
1956 Nebraska lieutenant gubernatorial election, though in that election, Burney had defeated Morrison to become
Nebraska Lieutenant Governor.
